Kikel (DK52) - 6 points Ivory, Camatillo, Pink Ivorywood
David Kikel is a true old-world craftsman who specializes in hand-built one-of-a-kind cues like this one created for the first International Cue Collectors Show in 2002. All the pink ivorywood and ivory inlays in this cue, including the inlaid ringwork, were cut using a pantograph, not CNC. This is the only cue Dave has made incorporating this time-consuming ring design.
The Camatillo forearm has six floating ivory points, inlaid with pink ivorywood and ivory Tiffany diamonds. The Camatillo butt sleeve is inlaid with six ivory bordered pink ivorywood ovals inset with 3-piece Tiffany diamonds, and two ivory inlays in- between each oval. Black linen phenolic rings with ivory-veneered pink ivorywood box inlays at ABCDE. Piloted ivory joint with a 5/16-14 stainless steel pin. Black Irish linen wrap; ivory butt cap engraved with the “KQ” logo.
Two 13mm shafts with ivory ferrules. A full set of custom ivory and Camatillo joint protectors is included. Weight: 19 oz.
