Jerry Terbrock (JT-4BMH) - 2006 - 4 pt. Amboyna Burl in Ebony, Tiger Maple Handle; Yellowheart, Redheart & Ebony Inlays & Ringwork
Jerry Terbrock started making cues in 1993, and builds up to 40 cues per year since going full-time in 2001. He is well known in the St. Louis area, where many of the top players have chosen Terbrock cues for their playability. Rich Cunningham, winner of the 2005 BCA Grand Master Singles, is among those who have had great tournaments playing with a custom Terbrock cue. Jerry himself is considered one of the finest players in Missouri.
Wood-handled cues are Jerry's specialty, and his playing preference. This cue has four striking Amboyna burl points in an ebony forearm accented with maple veneers - a perfect counterpoint to the natural tiger maple handle.  Inlaid in the beautifully figured Amboyna butt sleeve are four double spearhead inlays of Yellowheart and Redheart veneered with Ebony. In-between are smaller 3-piece inlays in a double-diamond pattern. The same woods are used in the decorative ringwork accenting the cue at A, B, C, D & E. The flat-faced joint has a stainless steel radial pin with a 3/8-8 thread and black linen phenolic joint and shaft collars. The black phenolic butt cap is marked with a white Terbrock “T” logo framed with its distinctive outline. A threaded black rubber bumper protects the butt cap.
Two 13mm shafts are perfectly matched, each weighing 3-5/8 oz. (102g), with Ivorine ferrules and Talisman layered tips. This cue was Jerry's personal cue for a time, so both shafts have had light play, but are immaculate. Excepting a hint of chalk on the tips, the cue's condition and finish are like new.
The butt weight is 15-7/8 oz. (454g). Overall weight: 19-1/2 oz. Length is 58 inches.
Terbrock cues feature gorgeous combinations of woods, super craftsmanship, and great playability. This is a lot of cue for the money.
