Keith Cue (K91) 1989 - 18 pt. Ebony & Tulipwood, 14K gold rings

Keith Hanssen made this cue in 1989, the year that he purchased Keith Cues from Keith Holcomb. He made 45 to 60 cues a year until he closed the business in 1997. Every component of his cues, including the pins, tips and bumpers, was personally made by Hanssen in his one-man shop. Because Hanssen made no more than 500 cues during his 11 years of production, examples are hard to find and are sought after by collectors.

Tulipwood forearm with 6 ebony points; the matching butt sleeve features 12 small ebony points. The flat-faced joint has a black linen phenolic joint collar. The cue is decorated by tulipwood and ebony ringwork with 14K gold borders at ABCD and E. The custom 3/8-10 stainless steel pin has the serial number “034 OF 5-89” engraved on the end. The cue is further identified by the “K” insignia on the molded black rubber bumper. The butt cap is black phenolic.

Two original shafts with original ferrules, new Moori tips, and the original set of joint protectors:
(1) 12.5mm, 3-3/8 oz.
(1) 13.17mm, 3-1/2 oz.
Weight: 17-1/2 oz.
Length: 58 inches.

The finish is all-original, as is the black Irish linen wrap. There are a few slight nicks, but the cue is in overall very good 90% condition. This is a one-owner cue.

The original black leather "It's George" case comes with the cue.
