Samsara (S-BR6) - 6 pt. Brazilian Rosewood, 2006, 1 of 1
Dave Doucette and Jim Stadum are known for their unique designs featuring intarsia wood inlays, all painstakingly constructed by hand. Samsara cues have won several awards at cue shows over the years, and their one-of-a-kind examples are coveted by collectors.
The Brazilian rosewood provided to Samsara for this custom cue is from stock imported by A.E. Schmidt over 40 years ago. This wood is now a protected species, and no longer available on the market. It is the only Brazilian rosewood custom cue ever made by Samsara.
Six slender Brazilian rosewood points, three long and three short, are set into a Brazilian rosewood forearm. Three veneers (maple/rosewood/maple) define the points. The Brazilian rosewood butt sleeve features the Samsara “Swirl” - an intarsia design composed of cocobolo and other exotic hardwoods. The “Swirl band also appears as an A-ring above the brown pigskin wrap. The cue is finished with a black fiber butt cap with the “Samsara” logo in gold, and a black rubber bumper embossed with the “S” insignia. Samsara's distinctive “triple diamond” ringwork decorates the base of butt sleeve and also the black linen phenolic joint and shaft collars (C, D & E). The flat-faced wood-to-wood joint has a Uni-loc radial pin.
Weight: 18-3/4 - 18-7/8 oz., depending on shaft used. Butt: 15 oz.

Two 13mm shafts, unchalked, with LBM ivory substitute ferrules, 4-1/4 oz. and 3-7/8 oz. respectively.

This is a one-owner cue in unplayed 100% condition.
