Verl Horn (VH-H81) - c. early 1990's Sneaky Pete “Hustler”

Verl Horn made cues from 1961 into the early 1990's in his one-man shop in Mooreland, Oklahoma. He passed away in 1999 after a long bout with cancer.  Since his passing, Verl Horn's cues have become much sought after by both players and collectors.

Conversion “sneaky pete” cue, full-spliced four points into maple; no wrap. Flat-faced wood-to-wood joint, 3/8-10 steel pin, black phenolic joint ring. The “HORN” logo appears in gold lettering on the bottom of the thin black butt cap. The black rubber bumper is attached with a slotted screw.

One shaft with composition ferrule, chalked, very clean.
Weight 19-1/4 oz. Butt: 15-3/4 oz., shaft: 3-1/2 oz. (98g).
Length: 58 inches (29 inch butt and 29 inch shaft).

This cue is in excellent 95% condition.
