Jacoby (J97-20) - c.1997 ebony 1 of 1 "Len De Pole" 8-Ball design

For the past 12 years, Len Jaszewski of Exclusively Billiards has given Dave and Brandon Jacoby a design for a one-of-kind "Len De Pole" cue. This cue with an 8-ball theme was made by Brandon Jacoby, and exhibited by the Jacobys at the BCA Trade Expo, where it was sold to a collector.

Ebony forearm with inlays: 14 ivory suns, two ivory cue racks speared by a tiny wood cue, and two pairs of semi-precious stone inlays (blue lapis and green gaspaite); top and bottom designs are inlaid with abalone, middle has two ebony squares with a tiny abalone dot in the center of each. Ebony butt sleeve has two 8-ball inlays topped with a curly maple point ending in an ebony and ivory sun inlay. The six-piece lapis/gaspaite/ebony/abalone inlay design from the points alternates with the 8-ball design. White/black/white veneer rings are set in black linen phenolic at ABCDE. A pearlized plastic ring engraved “Jacoby” appears at the bottom of the butt cap, finished with a thin black butt plate and black rubber bumper. The solid ivory joint has a 5/16-14 steel pin. The cue is finished with a black with double-white speck linen wrap.
