SOLD

McWorter (MW-1393) - “Two-toned Crown” Thuya burl, Ivory

Two-toned Crown design in Thuya burl with all ivory crown inlays. Jerry McWorter has made the beautiful “Two-toned Crown” design in several different exotic hardwoods over the past six years.  In addition to the highly figured Thuya burl cue shown here, there are other versions in Cocobolo burl and in Gabon Ebony. This was his first in Thuya burl, one of two Jerry has created to date.

Although it was made c. 2002, the cue is unplayed and unchalked. It is in 100% new condition.

The Thuya burl forearm has 12 ivory “points” outlined with a black veneer forming a crown design above a ring of ivory. The Thuya burl butt sleeve mirrors the same design in reverse.

The flat-faced joint has a 3/8-10 flat-bottomed stainless steel pin, and a black linen phenolic collar decorated with two delicate silver rings.  The pin has a custom Thuya protector with a matching collar and silver rings.

The McWorter name and the cue's serial number 1393, appear at the base of the butt sleeve on the thin black phenolic butt cap, protected by a push-in black rubber bumper. The cue is finished with a black pigskin leather wrap.

Two matched 12.85mm custom Pro shafts, unchalked, with black linen phenolic collars and double silver rings, and black Delrin protectors. They weigh 4 oz. (112g) each. The butt weight is 14.75 oz. (422g).

Weight: 18.75 oz.  (534g). Length: 58 inches. The balance point is 20 inches from the end of the butt sleeve.

PRICE: $1,995.   SOLD
