David Kikel (DK07-6EPH) - 2007 6 point Ebony, Purpleheart & Ivory
This gorgeous new Kikel Custom cue shows David Kikel's finesse with the pantograph. David is a true old-world craftsman who specializes in hand-built one-of-a-kind cues like this one. The points and inlays in this cue were cut without the use of computer-aided design and cutting tools (CNC).
This new late-2007 cue features a Purpleheart forearm and three long points of ebony alternating with three shorter points. Each of the long points is bordered by three colored wood veneers (white, purple, and rose) with ivory-framed Purpleheart diamonds flanked by ivory dots at the base of each long point. Each of the shorter points has a row of three ivory dot inlays. The ebony butt sleeve is inlaid with three ivory “razor blade” windows framed with rose and purple veneers inlaid with an ivory diamond veneered in purpleheart. Alternating with the windows are three Purpleheart diamonds with ivory veneers; at the top and bottom an ivory dot is inlayed to match the inlays in the points.

The black linen phenolic butt cap is engraved with the “KQ” logo. Each ring at ABCDE is composed of a band of ivory bordered by rings of black linen phenolic and silver. The cue is finished with a richly grained burgundy leather wrap. The flat-faced wood-to-wood joint has a black linen phenolic collar and a radial pin. All in all, another Kikel cue that is great-hitting as well as beautiful.
Two matched 13 mm, 3.75 oz. shafts with Titan ferrules and Sumo tips.
A complete set of Kikel black delrin joint protectors is included.
