This four-point ebony short splice is set into maple, with four veneers (black, blue, green, and white). Each point has ivory inlays: linked half-circles set in an ivory barbell. The ebony butt sleeve features a ring composed of 16 ivory interlocking circles. The flat-faced stainless steel joint has a 3/8-10 pin. A black linen phenolic joint collar is enhanced by 8-piece ivory dash ringwork, which repeats on the shaft collars, above and below the black with white speck Irish linen wrap, and above the butt cap (ABCDE). The ivory-colored butt cap is engraved with the `CC' logo (linked double C's), and protected by a black rubber bumper.
