Tim Scruggs - Titlist conversion Rosewood 4 point with 1 shaft, ivory joint (TS-T66)
Made from an unplayed Titlist one-piece blank, one of 14 purchased from Classic Billiards in Baltimore, still in sleeves and the original Brunswick shipping box. The cues were like new, with bright, fresh colors, even though they were at least 40 years old at that time. According to Tim Scruggs and his partner, Mike Cochran, they acquired the blanks in 1998, made 7 into cues and sold them all at the Valley Forge Expo. A collector contacted them after the Expo and asked how many they had left. He bought 6 of the 7; this is one of those cues. Tim said he hasn't wanted to build a Titlist conversion since, because he has never found blanks as nice as those.
