(MS-89) Mike Sigel 1998 custom 4-point Azurite-chrysocolla, Ebony, Ivory, limited edition series, 100% new, unplayed condition
At age 35, Mike Sigel became the youngest member to be inducted into the Billiard Congress of America Hall Of Fame. He turned pro when he was 20, the same year he won the first U.S. Open. Since then he has won 105 professional pool & pocket billiard titles, including six U.S. Opens and ten World Championships.
As a pro player, Mike endorsed several cues and worked for several cuemakers. Most notably, he made cues with Dan Janes at Joss for several years in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1994 he retired from the pro circuit and by the following year he was making cues. Although he has made several tournament appearances since then, Mike has concentrated on making custom cues and also introducing a line of production cues bearing his name.
Most of Mike's custom cues were made in limited editions of ten or fewer. This 1998 cue is one of his top-of-the-line cues and originally retailed for $2,900. It is in 100% new, unplayed condition.
