Judd Fuller 2006  8-point Tulipwood, Ebony, leather wrap (JF8-06)

Garland C. “Judd” Fuller was born in Arkansas, moved to California as a teenager, and acquired his nickname while serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, Judd moved to Colorado and worked as a logger, doing cue repairs on the side. He and his wife, Trudy, moved to Riverside, California and in 1989 Judd started making cues for sale. They moved to Yellow Jacket, Colorado in 1998. All Judd's cues are built by hand, without the help of a computer. His cues are known for their playability; Robin Bell Dodson played with a Judd during her championship days on the WPBA tour.

Judd's cues typically have long, thin, razor-sharp points without veneers.
This 2006 cue features eight of those points in tulipwood, set in a Gabon ebony forearm. The flat-faced wood-to-wood joint has a 3/8-10 stainless steel pin. Tasteful slotted veneer ringwork at B, C, D and E (tulipwood/white/tulipwood) is set in black linen phenolic. The ebony butt sleeve is finished with a black linen phenolic butt cap, protected by a black rubber bumper attached with a hex screw. The wrap is a rich, black textured leather. The cue is hand signed on one of the points: “Judd Fuller 2006.”
